Whether you have an older home that you’d like to modernize or you simply want to upgrade with extensive remodeling, a whole-home remodel is a solid choice. Your home should be a reflection of you; it should show your style and suit your needs. A whole-home remodel is a good way to make sure your home’s interior flows well and is designed the way you’d like it to be.
At Arbor Construction, our team of skilled professionals is here to help you create a home that fits your family and your lifestyle. We understand that a whole-home remodel is a big project, and we’ll do our best to make it as fun and stress-free as possible, so that you can come home to a house you love.
Here we showcase a whole home remodeling project that we completed in Foxcroft. This home was formerly a Cape Cod style home, with lots of small unusable spaces between the dormers. The slanted ceilings made decorating and furniture placement difficult.
Here you see the new open foyer with new front doors. The open staircase is new, and gives this area a bright, open feel, instead of a closed in space.
The new upstairs hallway has tray ceilings and hardwoods throughout. This open airy space is in stark contract to the former slanted roof and cramped space.
The new second story was a complete renovation with new bedrooms with walk in closets that were formerly small and awkward due to the roofline.
New bathrooms, both a single bath and a Jack and Jill make the space more efficient and are a breath of fresh air.
Additionally a music room was added so practices could go on uninterrupted in the new second story.
On the first floor, the walls were opened to continue the airy feel throughout the house.
The complete exterior was repainted with a custom finish making the new second floor look original.
